It is crucial for Catholics to not view their Faith as something purely exterior. Catholics cannot merely “go through the motions” or keep up certain appearances and consider themselves faithful followers of Christ. Rather, it is necessary for Catholics to cultivate a strong interior life connected to God at all times if we wish to attain eternal life.
