In this release, we follow Father Marcel Lefebvre into the heart of Gabon, where his priesthood becomes deeply missionary. Chapter 6 shows him first as a teacher and rector at the seminary in Libreville, helping form a native clergy for the Church in Africa. But it also brings him into the bush — traveling by river and foot, visiting villages, guiding catechists, hearing confessions, settling disputes, building up missions, and strengthening Catholic life in difficult conditions. Through illness, war, exhausting labor, and separation from home, we see a priest who gives himself completely to souls. By the end, he is recalled to France, leaving behind a people and a mission he had grown to love.

What is the SSPX?
The main goal of the Society of Saint Pius X is to preserve the Catholic Faith in its fullness and purity, to teach its truths, and to diffuse its virtues, especially through the Roman Catholic priesthood.
Authentic spiritual life, the sacraments, and the traditional liturgy are its primary means of bringing this life of grace to souls.
Although the traditional Latin Mass is the most visible and public expression of the work of the Society, we are committed to defending Catholic Tradition in its entirety: all of Catholic doctrine and morals as the Church has always defended them. What people need is the Catholic Faith, without compromise, with all the truth and beauty which accompanies it.
