Holy Thursday offers an opportunity to reflect not only on the mysteries of the liturgy, but on the message of unity, peace, and fraternal charity given through the institution of the Blessed Sacrament. Every Mass calls to mind the Last Supper. In the Mass of Holy Thursday, however, the inextricable link between Christ’s love for us in the Eucharist and the liturgy is especially pronounced.
