“Every best gift, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of alteration.” These words from the Epistle of St. James remind us that we live only by the gifts of God and that it is incumbent upon us to continually ask Our Lord for them.
