On today’s episode of the SSPX Podcast, we’ll continue our Apologetics Series by starting to look at some of the more controversial aspects of Church History. Over the next 6 episodes, we’ll have Dr. John Rao join us to look at the “hot button issues” that are commonly used to attack the faith. Today we’ll start by looking at the Crusades. Were they good, or were they bad? Or, is it a lot more complicated than that? How did the Crusades impact the growth of Roman Catholicism, and how did they impact the relationship between East and West?

You can find notes to all these episodes at sspxpodcast.com/apologetics, as well as all our previous episodes. There as well, you can find a link to help support this project. This is free to listen to, as well as all the resources we’re posting, but if you can help with a one time or a small monthly recurring donation, you’ll be making sure that we can continue this work of producing good Catholic content on a regular basis.
